Since 1998, CHS, Inc. has been a leader in industrial safety equipment supplies that help protect employees from the many dangers they can face over the course of their day. As former fire chiefs, our owners’ mutual focus was on first aid CPR training. After starting this company, they began distributing a variety of fire protection and fire safety supplies for a number of manufacturers. In 2000, they began to rent safety equipment, primarily self-contained breathing apparatuses (SCBA) and began to provide safety equipment testing and repairs. CHS, Inc. became a licensed distributor for Scott Health Safety, Inc. in 2002. In 2011, the company became a certified small business through the County of Los Angeles.

CHS is a small, woman-owned company that services a large and diverse customer base, which includes municipal fire departments, water utilities, private fire departments at large refineries, industrial and commercial facilities, sheriff’s departments, military, and maritime and other safety product distributors.
